We headed to Priest Lake, Idaho last weekend to celebrate the marriage of my mom and Stan. We took off around 1:00 on Thursday in the motorhome in order to make it in time for a pre-funk BBQ. Our family, along with Kelly & Luke's family camped about a 1/2 mile down the road from the Grandview Resort, where everyone else was staying. The wedding was Friday and even though the wind was blowing and it definitely could have been warmer, the scenery was beautiful. My mom and Stan were both smiling from ear to ear and seemed to enjoy every minute of their weekend. Plenty of fun was had at the reception and after hanging around in the wind all day Saturday, we decided to make the trip home that evening. It was great! We left around 6:00 and were home by 10:30 with all four kids sleeping soundly most of the way home. Drew and I actually got a couple of uninterrupted hours to chat, which is rare! Anyway, the whole weekend was wonderful and I am so, so, so happy for my mama & Stan. May God bless them with a marriage full of health and happiness!
